2022 Munich Security Conference on Ukraine

FEB 18 -20, 2022

From 18th – 20th February,  the political elite from the West meets at the 58th Munich Security Conference (MSC)  in Munich, the Hotel Bayerischer Hof.  Naturally on the agenda was the tensions between Ukraine, Russia and NATO. In his speech, the President of Ukraine expressed his concerns about the current weaknesses in the global governance to deal with the rising tensions. This echoed the topic of the 2022 MSC Report ‘UnlearningHelplessness’ . Below is a very interesting diagram on how the world wants to response to the rising tension. Despite the friendship between Russia and China it seems that the Chinese people together with the Indians are less inclined to react in the case of an escalation to the Ukraine-Russia tensions.
