2022 Beijing | Sportsfans and Sponsors

From 4th-20th February, 2022 sportsfans from all over the world are glued to their televisions to watch their favourite wintersporters, also from all over the world, compete for the golden, silver and bronse medals.

Not all of the sponsors of the 2022 Beijing Olympic Winter Games, see below, were keen to show their face. Some of them, especially the Western companies preferred a low-key presence.

So not, Alibaba. Daniel Zhang, Chairman and CEO of Alibaba Group took the chance to launch his new cloud-powered Alibaba platform in front of the many journalists from all over the world who report on the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022. The platform, Cloud ME, projects life-sized 3D images of people who are having a conversation in different locations and is run entirely on the cloud.
